WHAT DOES YOUR SURVEY EQUIPMENT REPAIR DEPARTMENT DO?

We’ll do our best to solve the problem with a phone call whenever possible. This helps keep you in the field and gets you back to work sooner. During the phone call, our service team will be able to determine what is going wrong with your unit. We are familiar with the entire surveying and mapping product line, so we’re capable of addressing the most common issues you’ll run into.

Whenever a phone call isn’t enough, we repair units at our Workshop at our Certified repair center. Our experts work quickly to ensure units are received, processed, and begin the repair process as quickly as possible. We stay in communication during the entire process as well – forwarding any communication necessary to our point-of-contact. Read more about our repair process and submit a repair request below.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

When a phone call isn’t enough to solve the problem, we need to repair the unit in-house. UKS is committed to getting your equipment back to normal as quickly as possible, so once we decide we need to see it in person, we’ll issue you an RMA number.

An RMA (return material authorization) number is required so that we can thoroughly check all of the potential issues that are causing you problems in the field. We issue the RMA once we have received the model number, serial number, and an exact description of the malfunction that is present in your unit.

REPAIR PROCESS AND RENTAL OPTIONS

Once the unit arrives at our survey equipment repair facility, our experts will begin working on the repair immediately. We take pride in getting your equipment back to working order and in your hands as quickly as possible. Our technicians will take the time to ensure the problem is completely fixed and error tested before shipping it back out to you.

It’s our goal to stay in constant communication and answer any questions you might have about the repair process. As soon as the problem is identified, our technicians will notify you of a timeline for completion, and send a detailed estimate for the cost of repair.
